When a Meal Becomes a Lifeline

For many of our little ones, this is the only warm meal they will see all day. To fight this hunger, we serve 180–250 registered children twice every week, ensuring that our community's future never has to feel forgotten.

What It Is

In the DRC informal settlement, our soup kitchen is often the only place where children can count on a warm, nourishing meal instead of facing another day with an empty stomach.

This nourishing meal usually consists of a staple like maize meal, macaroni, or rice, served with a hearty vegetable soup—leaving children with full stomachs and a moment of happiness.

How It Works

A warm meal translates to health, energy for school, and a sense of belonging. It improves cognitive focus and shows every child they are valued and cared for.

Why It Matters

Help us keep the kitchen fires burning. Your generosity ensures that no child in our community has to face the day on an empty stomach.
